Job Description: Finance Business Partner Shared Services Center (SSC)
Location: Philippines
Position Summary: The Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in providing financial insights and support to the business units within the shared services company. This role encompasses controllership functions, business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A). The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to influence decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Controllership Functions:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and financial procedures.
- Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the management team, offering financial guidance and recommendations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with various departments to develop comprehensive budgets.
- Prepare and update financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
- Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, controllership roles, with at least 2 years in a similar business partnering role.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
