DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL REPORTING

  • Conducts month end closing activities such as journal voucher preparation and month end reports. 
  • Conduct balance sheet accounts reconciliations and analyses. 
  • Prepare annual financial statements (BS, IS, CFS, SCE) including notes to FS 
  • Understand more complex accounting policies such as but not limited to PFRS 16.

PROJECT MONITORING AND REPORTING 

  • Create complete actual vs budget report for reconciliation with project development and cost monitoring groups. 
  • Prepare and monitor approved funding versus actual spending of the project.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE 

  • Prepare tax returns such as Compensation, Expanded, DST, FBT, 0605 form in EFPS or in EBIR form. 
  • Prepare the relevant tax schedules like QAP, SLS/P, SAWT. 
  • Prepare BIR documentary requirements such as but not limited to Official and Acknowledgment Receipts, Billing invoices etc. 
  • Lead on the preparation of all requirements for LGU compliance. 
  • Prepare or generate books of accounts. 
  • Familiar with the list of requirements when filing FS to SEC, including the filing of annual Income Tax Return to BIR.

SYSTEMS PROFICIENCY 

  • Understand and effectively use the existing accounting system within the organization. 
  • Navigate, add, and update tasks on the Business-as-Usual Tool. 
  • Demonstrate an intermediate skill on MS office applications such as but not limited to MS Word, MS Excel MS PowerPoint MS Teams.

PAYABLE AND PAYMENT 

  • Review of charging/GL accounts used and budget review.
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting 
  • BIR and LGU Regulatory Compliance 
  • Project Monitoring and Reporting 
  • Systems Proficiency · Payable and Payment 
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy
  • Professional license in Accountancy or any related finance certifications
  • At least 1-2 years of related work experience in real estate, hospitality, high-rise and/or township developments
