About the job Barista

Under the supervision of the Restaurant Manager, the Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and tea beverages while delivering excellent customer service. This role ensures that all drinks meet Crimson Hotel Filinvest City's standards and guidelines. The Barista engages with customers, provides product knowledge on coffee and tea offerings, and creates a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Additionally, the Barista maintains cleanliness, follows safety and hygiene regulations, and supports daily café operations as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Report for duty on time, wearing the correct uniform and name badge. Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to hotel standards. 
  • Conduct coffee training sessions as needed.
  • Perform side duties as assigned daily by the Manager or Assistant Manager. 
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues and other departments through open communication and professionalism.
  • Follow and execute the outlet's operating service procedures and standards during each shift. 
  • Set a good example in punctuality, attendance, decision-making, and hygiene. Adhere to the hotel's employee handbook and regulations.
  • Assist in training team members to ensure they develop the necessary skills for efficient service.
  • Take initiative in improving products and service procedures within the outlet. Attend scheduled training programs as directed by the Manager.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and inventory of equipment, wares, and supplies.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned.
  • Adapt to changes in departmental functions based on operational demands and hotel directives.
  • Uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
  • Support teamwork and contribute to a positive and welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Vocational or Certification Course in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Barista Training
  • At least 3 years' experience as Barista
