Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a restaurant, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their dining experience, and that the restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Function & Responsibilities
- Staff Management: The restaurant supervisor is responsible for supervising restaurant staff, including servers, chefs, and kitchen staff, ensuring that they are properly trained and providing excellent customer service.
- Customer Service: The restaurant supervisor should ensure that customers are satisfied with their dining experience, handling any complaints or issues that arise and ensuring that the restaurant maintains a high level of customer service.
- Operations Management: They are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Health and Safety: They should ensure that the restaurant is compliant with health and safety regulations, implementing appropriate measures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for customers and staff.
- Inventory Management: They should be responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring that there is sufficient stock for restaurant operations.
- Training and Development: They should be responsible for training and developing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Hotel/Resort and Restaurant Management or any related course.
- With relevant training and certification in Food & Beverage service operations.
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or in a similar leadership role in the F&B industry.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused with a strong commitment to service excellence.
- Proficient in POS systems and basic restaurant administration (e.g., inventory, scheduling, reports).
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Flexible and willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to work in Baguio City.
