Performance Analyst - Finance

Duties and Responsibilities

Based on how finance performance reporting and service reviews are actually handled in our organization, the responsibilities of a Performance Analyst – Finance typically cover the following areas. These are grounded on the scope reflected in the Finance Shared Services performance reports, KPI reviews, and service review materials used across sectors

Performance Measurement & KPI Management

  • Track, monitor, and analyze finance KPIs such as timeliness, completeness, accuracy, volumetrics, and productivity across finance processes (AP, AR, Reporting, Treasury, Payroll, etc.).
  • Ensure KPI definitions, formulas, and targets are consistently applied across business units and reporting periods.
  • Validate data accuracy and investigate anomalies or variances in performance results.

Performance Reporting & Dashboards

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly finance service performance reports for Shared Services and Business Units.
  • Assist the SLM Manager in developing executive-ready dashboards and summaries highlighting trends, risks, and improvement areas.
  • Assist the SLM Manager in translating raw data into clear insights and narratives suitable for Service Reviews and leadership discussions.

Service Review & Stakeholder Support

  • Support monthly/quarterly Service Performance Review meetings by preparing materials, insights, and talking points.
  • Partner with Service Level Managers, Controllers, and BU stakeholders to explain performance results and trends.
  • Respond to ad-hoc performance data requests from Finance leadership and Business Units.
