Drive overall hotel revenue and profitability through achievement and monthly goals. Works to develop, build, and maintain long-term relationships with clients to achieve related revenue/profit, and customer satisfaction goals. Maintains the highest standard of service and ensures management policies and procedures are effectively observed. Serves as primary contact to assigned accounts and is responsible for the overall experience.
- Personally, handles and actively supervises the management of key accounts in each of the hotel's revenue contributing market segments
- Develops strategies in securing or maintaining a preferred hotel status for global
accounts and optimizes revenue contribution at property level. - Develops and executes effective business development strategies that will ensure a continued and sustainable profitable growth for rooms as well as all revenue centers.
- Understands the impact of department's operation on the overall hotel financial goals and objectives and
manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals. - Responsible for a continuous assessment of pipeline accounts and evaluate its viability
and potential. - Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market area through direct sales, telephone, fax and written communication.
- Recommends contracted room rate structure including but not limited to corporate
rates, wholesale rates, long stay rates, group rates, etc. ensuring maximum revenue
generation. - Conducts site inspection. Supervises all aspects of familiarization groups including inquiry, coordination and execution thereof.
- Monitor competitor's performance and share relevant information to keep abreast in
the industry trends and market conditions. - Supports and acts in accordance with the approved Sales Action Plan to boosts the sales
strategy. - Accurately forecast business block allocation both for rooms and banquet segments.
- Maintains all sales systems, such as database, sales records and reports, conference
calendar, traces of history pipeline, revenue stream, and potentials. - Monitors monthly account production results and come up with action plans.
- Ensures that QPCM Management is strictly adhered to, to achieve maximum productivity levels.
- Ensures compliance with QPCM standards and integrity of database.
- Be familiar with the use of the sales and marketing software solutions in managing sales accounts and optimize all revenue opportunities.
- Makes presence known to customer at all times. Is available to solve problem and/or
suggest alternative to previous arrangements.
Job Qualifications
- Degree in Hotel Management or Sales or other related course
- Minimum 5 years as Sales Executive with demonstrated proficiency and understanding of one or more functions related to the position
- 3 years in similar capacity in an international class hotel or similar environment.
