Job Summary
The Permits and Licenses Supervisor is responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with DHSUD regulations and other government agency requirements related to real estate development projects. This role involves securing permits, licenses, and clearances for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, coordinating with internal teams, and liaising with regulatory bodies to facilitate approvals and renewals.Duties and Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance and Permitting:
• Oversee and facilitate the processing of permits and
licenses required by DHSUD, including License to Sell (LTS), Certificate of
Registration (COR), Development Permits (DP), and other related approvals.
• Ensure timely submission of all necessary documents,
reports, and compliance requirements to avoid penalties and project delays.
• Monitor regulatory updates, new policies, and
amendments from DHSUD and other relevant agencies, ensuring company adherence
to updated laws and guidelines.
• Review and validate project documents, plans, and
permits before submission to DHSUD.
Coordination and Liaison Work:
• Act as the
primary point of contact between the company and DHSUD officials, as well as
other agencies such as LGUs,, DENR, and other government agencies.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Legal, Project
Development, Finance, Operations and Sales) to ensure permit requirements are
met efficiently.
• Attend regulatory hearings, inspections, and meetings
with DHSUD and related government agencies.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare reports on the status of applications,
compliance audits, and regulatory risks.
• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of permits,
licenses, and regulatory documents. Process Improvement & Compliance
Strategy:
• Identify potential risks in the permitting process and
recommend solutions to streamline compliance procedures.
• Develop strategies to improve the efficiency of permits
and licenses processing.
• Train and guide
junior staff or project teams on DHSUD regulations and requirements.
Technical Competencies and Skills
