Sr. AI Innovation Manager

Job Summary

The AI Innovation Manager leads the identification, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions that support Smart City initiatives. This role works closely with government agencies, business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to design and deliver innovative AI applications that enhance urban services, operational efficiency, sustainability, and citizen experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Innovation

·         Develop and execute the AI innovation roadmap for Smart City initiatives.

·         Identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, IoT analytics, and computer vision to solve urban and operational challenges.

·         Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Smart City Solution Development

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams

·         Ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, and interoperable with Smart City platforms.

 

Project & Program Management

·         Manage AI proof-of-concepts (POCs), pilots, and production deployments.

·         Oversee project planning, budgets, timelines, risks, and vendor coordination.

·         Monitor project milestones and ensure successful implementation.

 

AI Governance & Compliance

·         Establish AI governance standards and promote responsible AI practices.

·         Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and applicable regulatory requirements.

·         Develop standards for AI ethics, model governance, and data quality

 

Innovation & Research

·         Define KPIs to measure AI solution performance and business impact.

·         Track ROI, operational improvements, cost savings, and citizen satisfaction.

·         Recommend enhancements based on analytics and user feedback.

Technical Competencies and Skills

Education, Trainings and Licenses Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Engineering
