Job Summary:
The Business Solutions Specialist is responsible for the development, support, and maintenance of reporting and analytics solutions within the Oracle ERP environment and other enterprise systems. This role ensures timely, accurate, and business-aligned reporting across modules, while also leading the standardization and documentation of functional processes and configurations. Secondary support is provided for Loans and Funds Management processes. The analyst works closely with functional teams, business units, and IT to deliver meaningful insights and maintain robust documentation standards across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Reports Development & Analytics Support
- Design and build custom reports, dashboards, and data extracts using Oracle ERP reporting tools (e.g., OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View).
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data used in financial and operational reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Maintain and update report inventories and documentation of business logic used in each report.
Documentation & Process Standardization
- Create, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation for business processes, system configurations, and testing scripts.
- Support efforts to standardize documentation across modules to ensure consistency, audit readiness, and knowledge retention.
- Maintain repository of key project artifacts, configuration decisions, and UAT documentation.
- Assist in the development of user manuals, training guides, and SOPs.
Issue Resolution & Operational Support
- Address reporting and documentation-related issues raised by users, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Support end-users in report usage, interpretation, and self-service analytics capabilities.
- Liaise with IT and technical teams to troubleshoot data inconsistencies or performance issues in reports.
Project Participation
- Participate in new implementations, module enhancements, upgrades, and patch testing.
- Prepare and execute test scripts, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Contribute to change management and user documentation efforts.
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time in support of team objectives and project requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with finance, treasury, audit, and project teams to identify reporting needs and improve data visibility.
- Coordinate with IT and external vendors for delivery and optimization of reporting solutions.
- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and provide training on report usage and interpretation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Systems.
- Experience or strong familiarity with Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities.
