We are currently seeking a dynamic HR Manager to temporarily cover maternity leave, and subsequently join our HR team permanently to manage HR functions for one of our agile teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to initially step into a crucial role during the maternity leave period and then transition to support our strategic restructuring of HR to enhance efficiency and specialization across our teams.

Location: Dubai - United Arab Emirates or willing to relocate to Dubai

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop HR strategies aligned with the company and team's overall goals.
  • Talent Acquisition & Staffing: Develop, oversee, and manage the recruitment and onboarding processes for remote and onsite teams to attract top talent and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Policies & Regulations: Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement and satisfaction, updating them regularly to adapt to new regulations or internal business changes.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Design and review compensation structures and administer benefits and perks programs to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
  • People Wellbeing: Champion initiatives that support and improve employee wellness and work-life balance, and serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related issues and concerns.
  • Administrative HR Matters: Oversee the administration of HR operations such as payroll processing, leave management, employee records, agreement finalization, employment processes, etc.
  • Manage & optimize HR Budget: Set and manage the HR budget to support strategic goals while ensuring efficient use of resources in recruitment, benefits, training, and other areas without compromising on quality and efficiency.
  • Build & Manage an Efficient HR Team: Lead the hiring and development of a skilled HR team to ensure high performance.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting: Produce regular reports to track HR performance and trends, using data to inform decisions and improve HR practices.

Required Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in HR, with at least 3 years as an HR Manager or HR Lead. Experience in international tech companies and managing remote and hybrid teams is highly desirable. Familiarity with agile team dynamics is a plus.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with various HR software and tools.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of revamping HR departments and managing diverse HR functions.
  • Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate business goals into effective HR initiatives and use data to inform decision-making.
  • Legal and Best Practices Knowledge: In-depth understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Resourcefulness: Enthusiastic and resourceful with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly, especially in temporary and transitional roles.
  • Budget Management: Experience in managing HR budgets and optimizing costs.
