Finance Manager
About the job Finance Manager
Main Responsabilities:
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, vendor payments, payroll, contracts, invoices, and tax obligations, ensuring full compliance with Brazilian regulations;
- Manage financial reporting, journal entries, and intercompany transactions with shareholders in the US, including foreign exchange and intercompany loans;
- Ensure compliance with city, state, and federal tax requirements, as well as internal audit and corporate governance standards;
- Monitor and manage fixed assets, depreciation, and inventory reviews to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial statements;
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes, providing realistic and data-driven insights to support business decision-making;
- Apply percent-of-completion accounting for industrial services projects, ensuring alignment with US GAAP standards where applicable;
- Act as a Finance Business Partner to the leadership team, translating financial data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders;
- Support strategic initiatives, cost analysis, and project evaluations, ensuring sustainable growth and financial integrity of the business.
Technical Profile:
- End-to-end accounting expertise: full-cycle accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting;
- Strong knowledge of Brazilian regulations combined with ability to report to US headquarters (including intercompany transactions, loans, and foreign exchange);
- Experience with fixed assets, depreciation, and inventory control, ensuring accurate financial statements;
- Percent-of-completion accounting exposure (industrial services/construction projects) and familiarity with US GAAP are a plus;
- Forecasting and budgeting skills, with ability to plan payments, analyze project pipelines, and anticipate funding needs;
- Finance business partner mindset: strategic financial planning, delivering realistic and accurate forecasts, and supporting decision-making;
- Fluent/advanced English (mandatory).
