Accounting Systems Manager (Remote)

About the client

Our client, located in USA, is a company specialized in construction and refrigeration services in commercial and industrial properties. They are facing an expansion and growth moment and are looking for professionals in Latin America to be part of the accounting team. Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting Systems Manager will be part of the group responsible to build the new shared service center.

Main responsibilities

Identify opportunities to improve accounting technology, including the ERP, and support Finance team and the Shared Service Center, in validation, prioritization, development and testing new solutions and products.

Manages and controls accounting system(s), research system problems and works to resolve with IT staff. Identifies areas of potential improvement within the accounting system.

Supervises, reviews, research, and resolves customer-related inquiries according to SLAs.

The successful applicant

• Bachelor´s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, industrial engineering, or similar.
• Shared Services experience Required.
• Robust understanding of financial system integrations and or ecosystems.
• Experience with ERP implementation process.
• 3-7 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• English proficiency: Advanced/fluent is required
• Communicate effectively with peers and management team.
• Attention to details, team spirit and analytical thinking.
• Strong ability and desire to work remote / work from anywhere in Latin America.
