GTM Engineer AA-07

 Job Description:

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our partner is a leader in performance-based mobile app marketing, partnering globally to deliver premium users at scale. Their collaborative team prioritizes innovation and strategic decision-making, fostering a dynamic and inclusive culture. They are looking for individuals who thrive in an autonomous work environment, seek out ways to meaningfully contribute to shared success, and embrace growth both personally and professionally.

With a fully remote workforce centered in talent hubs in Denver, Austin, and Chicago, they organize regular in-person events to enhance collaboration. Join and make a meaningful impact from anywhere within their talent hubs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our partner is seeking a GTM Engineer to join their Growth and Development team. This is a new kind of role — a GTM Engineer who owns and builds the systems that power how customers are acquired, engaged, and grown at scale. You'll report to the Senior Director of Growth and Development, working day-to-day alongside sales, SDR, and business operations teams to automate workflows, build internal tools, and bring engineering rigor to growth processes.

While embedded with the business team, you'll be closely aligned with the Tech department — participating in engineering-wide meetings, following engineering best practices, and contributing to technical culture. Think of it as having the context of a business operator with the toolkit of a software engineer.

You'll also play a key role in helping teammates across the organization harness AI effectively — both by building AI-powered solutions and by coaching colleagues on how to use AI tools in their own work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the GTM systems layer across CRM, enrichment, automation, and internal tooling.
  • Automate Sales Development workflows — prospecting, outreach sequences, lead scoring, and pipeline operations using tools like Apollo and HubSpot.
  • Design and build integrations between CRM systems, internal databases, and reporting tools to keep business data flowing and accurate.
  • Own the technical configuration of CRM — lifecycle stages, lead routing, custom properties, and attribution models.
  • Build and maintain data enrichment pipelines to ensure sales teams are working with complete, accurate prospect and customer data.
  • Build internal tools and dashboards that help the business team self-serve on data and operations.
  • Develop AI-powered workflows and automations — agents, prompt-based tools, and LLM integrations — that augment sales and business operations processes.
  • Coach and enable teammates across the organization on using AI tools effectively in their day-to-day work, running workshops and creating resources as needed.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools in your own workflow while maintaining strong engineering fundamentals — you understand, review, and own every line of code you ship.
  • Partner with Engineering, Sales, Growth, and Marketing leadership to shape GTM strategy through systems and automation — influencing how teams operate, not just supporting existing workflows.
  • Identify and drive innovation beyond immediate needs — own a GTM systems roadmap, design scalable architecture, and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
  • Measure the impact of your work — track how automations affect pipeline generation, conversion rates, and rep productivity, and use those insights to prioritize what to build next.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in a software engineering role.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and data pipeline work.
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for building internal tools, dashboards, or web applications.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Experience working with APIs (REST, GraphQL) and integrating third-party platforms (CRM systems, marketing/sales tools).
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with or strong interest in AI/LLM technologies — building with them, not just using them.
  • You embrace AI-assisted development as a force multiplier, but you don't vibe code. You understand what your tools produce, you review it critically, and you take ownership of the result.
  • Experience with sales/marketing tools (HubSpot, Apollo, etc.) is a plus.
  • Understanding of B2B sales cycles, lead scoring, or ICP frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills — you can translate between technical and non-technical audiences comfortably.
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating with autonomy in a business team environment.
