Job Responsibilities
- Test Automation Engineering Leadership:
Lead the implementation of test automation across the engineering team. Evaluate frameworks, select the appropriate execution platforms, and integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline. Collaborate closely with developers and SREs to ensure tests are repeatable, accurate, and provide meaningful insights. - Test Platform Documentation:
Create and maintain clear, internal-facing documentation that enables QA Engineers, Developers, and stakeholders to understand and contribute to the automation and release platforms. - Regression Testing:
Design and execute robust automated regression tests to ensure that new features integrate seamlessly and existing functionality remains stable. - Collaborative Problem Solving:
Work with software developers, product managers, and QA peers to deeply understand the systems, identify automation opportunities, and unblock implementation challenges. Participate in root cause analysis and testing strategy discussions.
Knowledge Base Requirements
- Test automation frameworks
- CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, GCP Cloud Build, or similar)
- API and mobile application testing
- Python or TypeScript
Must-Have Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in quality assurance and testing, preferably within healthcare or regulated industries.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in Python (or TypeScript) for scripting and automation frameworks.
- Deep understanding of QA methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in a range of manual and automated testing tools.
- Experience designing and executing API tests.
- Proven success integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable testing mobile applications across various platforms.
- Advanced English proficiency.
