Salary - €50,000 - €75,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

Working Pattern – Malta Office or Remote from EU

Our client is a rapidly growing payment orchestration provider helping merchants optimise, control and scale their payment infrastructure.

Operating across multiple international markets, the business enables merchants to improve payment performance, reduce dependency on individual providers and unlock greater flexibility across their payment stack.

Having already secured a number of high-profile customers and achieved profitability at an early stage, they are now expanding their commercial team to support the next phase of growth.

Role Summary

We are looking for an Account Executive to drive new business growth across several key sectors including Travel (Airlines and OTAs), Foreign Exchange, Crypto and iGaming.

This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere within Europe.

You will be responsible for managing opportunities from discovery through to contract signature, working with mid-market and enterprise customers that often have complex payment requirements and multiple stakeholders involved in the buying process.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating within consultative sales environments and managing longer sales cycles while building trusted relationships with senior decision makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new business opportunities from initial qualification through to close
  • Conduct discovery sessions with prospective customers
  • Understand customer payment infrastructure, challenges and objectives
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders across commercial, product and payments teams
  • Deliver compelling platform demonstrations and commercial presentations
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
  • Work closely with founders, product teams and technical specialists throughout the sales process
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management
  • Represent the business at industry events and customer meetings
  • Contribute to commercial strategy and market expansion initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience & Expertise

  • Experience selling payments technology solutions
  • Backgrounds from payment orchestration, PSPs, acquiring, gateways, PayFacs, FX providers, crypto payment businesses or adjacent fintech sectors will all be considered
  • Proven experience managing mid-market or enterprise sales cycles
  • Track record of generating and closing new business opportunities
  • Experience selling into one or more of the following sectors:
    • Travel (Airlines, OTAs, Travel Technology or Travel Payments)
    • Foreign Exchange
    • Crypto
    • iGaming
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders throughout a sales process
  • Comfortable operating within consultative and solution-led sales environments
