- Function: The Commercial Relationship Manager will lead commercial business development efforts, originate and structure lending opportunities, deepen existing client relationships, and expand referral channels across the Jacksonville market.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial banking relationship management
- Proven C&I and/or CRE origination record, including annual production of $10MM+
- Established commercial presence and active network within the Jacksonville market
- Demonstrated success in developing business through centers of influence, including CPAs, attorneys, and commercial real estate brokers
- Strong credit fluency with the ability to structure deals and advocate for credit requests independently
- Experience managing portfolio quality, client retention, and annual relationship reviews
- Knowledge of BSA/AML and KYC requirements in a regulated financial institution
- Treasury management and/or wealth referral experience preferred
- Healthcare, logistics, or CRE vertical expertise preferred
- Prior experience in a regional banking environment is preferred
Description:
- Build and execute a commercial prospecting strategy across C&I, CRE, and professional services relationships
- Develop a consistent and measurable origination pipeline supported by market outreach and referral activity
- Lead client meetings, identify financing needs, and manage the full deal process through closing
- Structure and present credit opportunities in partnership with underwriting and internal credit teams
- Monitor portfolio performance and maintain disciplined credit oversight after closing
- Conduct systematic call planning and annual relationship reviews to support retention and expansion
- Partner closely with treasury management, wealth, and capital markets teams to increase total client value
- Represent the institution in the Jacksonville business community through professional associations, networking groups, and local events
- Build referral networks that create sustainable pipeline growth independent of cold calling alone
- Contribute to production goals tied to loan growth, deposit growth, pipeline coverage, and client retention
