As an AML Investigator and SAR Writer you will investigate alerts and cases end to end and prepare timely SARs with high quality narratives. You will support surge desks across transaction monitoring scenarios and help eliminate backlogs.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years in AML investigations within banking or fintech

  • Hands on with TM platforms Actimize or Mantas or FCRM or Pega or NICE

  • Strong narrative writing red flags and fact patterns and disposition support

  • Knowledge of BSA and AML and KYC and CTR and sanctions basics

  • SQL basics and open source media research a plus

Responsibilities

  • Triage alerts and investigate and document sources and analysis and conclusions

  • Draft SARs with clear synopsis and activity details and subject information

  • Manage queues to aging targets and quality thresholds

  • Partner with QA and tuning teams to improve precision and reduce repeats

Outcomes we track

  • SAR timeliness 100% within 30 days of decision

  • QA pass rate 95%+

  • Aging over 30 days under 5% after 60 days

  • Documentation completeness 100%

Compensation and terms

  • Consultant pay $45 to $95 per hour based on platform depth and segment complexity

  • Contract Remote US W2 or 1099

  • Multiple openings for surge pods
