Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager / Credit Analyst –Tampa, FL

FinTrust Connect has partnered with a well-capitalized regional banking institution to identify talent for a Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Manager / Credit Analyst opportunity supporting a growing Florida CRE lending platform. This search is focused on adding analytical support to an established underwriting and portfolio management team handling commercial real estate relationships throughout the Tampa market.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of commercial banking or CRE credit analysis experience
  • Experience with commercial real estate underwriting and annual reviews
  • Ability to analyze borrower financial statements and property-level cash flow
  • Experience with covenant testing and portfolio monitoring
  • Exposure to CRE property types including retail, hospitality, office, and multifamily
  • Strong written communication and credit memo writing skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
  • Experience within regional or community banking environments preferred

Description:

  • Perform annual reviews and renewals for commercial real estate relationships
  • Assist with underwriting new money CRE transactions
  • Analyze borrower and guarantor financial statements
  • Conduct debt service coverage and covenant testing
  • Support portfolio management functions for assigned loan relationships
  • Prepare credit presentations and underwriting packages
  • Work closely with senior analysts and team leads on portfolio management activities
  • Review CRE property types including retail centers, hospitality assets, office properties, and multifamily transactions
  • Manage workload volume involving multiple active relationships and deadlines
