FinTrust Connect has partnered with a regional banking institution seeking operational and analytical support talent for a confidential Underwriter Assistant / Commercial Loan Administration opportunity. This role will support a large commercial loan portfolio and assist underwriting teams with portfolio maintenance and borrower financial documentation.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of commercial banking, loan administration, or credit support experience
• Experience collecting and reviewing borrower financial documentation
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage high-volume portfolio activity
• Familiarity with commercial lending processes preferred
• Strong Excel and communication skills

Description:

• Collect borrower financial statements and supporting documentation
• Track covenant compliance and portfolio reporting requirements
• Support underwriters and portfolio managers with loan administration tasks
• Maintain loan data accuracy and document organization
• Assist with annual review preparation and portfolio maintenance activities
• Communicate with borrowers regarding missing documentation and reporting requirements
• Help manage large commercial loan portfolio volumes
