Were actively seeking a Staff Accountant to join the Finance & Operations team a mission-critical function that ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions in a highly responsive environment.

This is a Temp-to-Perm opportunity based in St. Petersburg, FL, offering 4 days in-office and 1 remote.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 24 years of experience in accounting (GL, AP, reconciliations)
• Intermediate+ Excel proficiency and comfort with financial/expense software
• Experience with accounts payable and general ledger systems (expense report system experience a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and time management
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with finance, operations, and leadership

Description:

• Maintain accounting workpapers and complete reconciliations for general ledger accounts
• Process daily accounts payable transactions and quarterly agent commission payments
• Review, analyze, and reconcile financial activity to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Prepare accruals, prepaids, and journal entries for month-end close
• Develop schedules for financial reporting and management analysis (e.g., losses paid, receivables)
• Process travel and business expense reports
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests from the Finance & Operations leadership team
