FinTrust has partnered with a well-capitalized multinational banking group that is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst focused on investment securities. The role centers on evaluating issuer creditworthiness and monitoring risk exposure within a diverse portfolio of fixed-income and structured products.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in credit risk analysis
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the banking or financial industry
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
• Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken, written, and reading comprehension)
• Strong knowledge of fixed-income markets, credit metrics, and rating agency methodologies
• Familiarity with FRB, OFR, and OCC guidelines
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Google Workspace

Description:

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of fixed-income issuers and structured securities within the investment portfolio
• Analyze financial statements using key indicators such as EBITDA, FCF/DS, and coverage ratios
• Monitor sector and regional risk trends, especially within U.S. and Latin American markets
• Conduct due diligence on new and existing issuers, reviewing offering documents, bond indentures, and covenant terms
• Support the development and maintenance of internal credit rating models
• Ensure compliance with FRB, OFR, and OCC investment guidelines
• Reports to senior investment leadership and collaborates with portfolio and compliance teams
