FinTrust Connect is excited to announce that we have partnered with a well-established financial institution in search of a Lending Reporting Analyst to support their Commercial Lending Division. This role is responsible for managing and analyzing lending-related data to drive performance tracking, pipeline visibility, and business intelligence insights. The analyst will play a key role in improving reporting accuracy, identifying trends, and supporting executive planning initiatives. Daily responsibilities include generating and interpreting reports from multiple systems to support credit quality, operational performance, and strategic objectives.

Workplace (On-site, Hybrid, Remote): On-site in Elmwood Park, NJ

Function: Responsible for developing, monitoring, and interpreting lending reports to support pipeline management, operational performance, and executive strategy.

Requirements:

• College degree or equivalent business experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial banking, credit, or financial reporting

• Strong analytical thinking and quantitative skills

• Familiarity with credit documentation and commercial loan operations
• Proficient with Excel; experience with Qlik, cView, or other BI/reporting tools is preferred
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights
• Excellent organizational and project management skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Description:

Generate, maintain, and analyze lending performance reports using internal reporting platforms

• Collaborate with department heads to validate data and reporting accuracy

• Design and maintain dashboards to provide real-time insights into sales pipeline and performance metrics
• Conduct trend analysis and provide variance explanations for internal reviews
• Assist leadership with strategic planning and monthly reporting packages
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency
• Support special projects and provide ad hoc analysis as requested by management
