Workplace (Onsite): On-site in the Florida Keys region.

Function: Lead a team of Private Bankers while personally managing key HNW relationships. Deliver customized credit, depository, and wealth solutions to individuals and businesses, while maintaining credit quality, compliance, and profitability.

Description

  • Lead and coach Private Bankers, Portfolio Managers, and support staff to achieve portfolio growth and service excellence

  • Manage a personal book of high-net-worth relationships while mentoring a team managing their own client portfolios

  • Acquire and grow complex banking relationships through deep financial discovery, tailored solutions, and high-touch service

  • Independently structure complex commercial and consumer loans, including real estate-secured lending, lines of credit, and term debt

  • Make credit recommendations and pricing decisions in line with internal policy and market expectations

  • Collaborate with underwriters and credit officers to prepare opportunity memos, financial spreads, term sheets, and commitment letters

  • Conduct annual reviews, covenant tracking, risk ratings, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal credit policies

  • Analyze financial statements, assess risk, and communicate recommendations to credit committee and senior leadership

  • Maintain accurate data and documentation in CRM and internal loan systems throughout the underwriting and approval process

  • Represent the bank in the local community through professional organizations, chambers of commerce, and client-facing events

  • Ensure team-wide accountability in deal tracking, pipeline management, and adherence to service level expectations

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required; MBA or formal credit training preferred

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in private banking, wealth, or commercial lending

  • Prior leadership experience managing bankers or financial advisory teams

  • Strong credit acumen and comfort with complex lending structures and high-net-worth client needs

  • Deep knowledge of financial products, cash flow lending, estate planning needs, and regulatory compliance

  • Excellent communication, client-facing, and presentation skills

  • Must reside within commutable distance to the Florida Keys
