Requirements:
  • 10+ years of commercial banking, commercial lending, or relationship management experience
  • Demonstrated success developing and managing commercial loan and deposit portfolios
  • Strong C&I lending experience with privately held businesses and operating companies
  • Experience with credit analysis, underwriting, loan structuring, and portfolio management
  • Knowledge of commercial lending regulations, loan documentation, and risk management practices
  • Proven business development and relationship management skills
  • Experience partnering with treasury management, wealth management, credit, and other banking teams
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field required
  • Graduation from a recognized school of banking preferred
Description:
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand commercial loan and deposit relationships throughout the Austin and Lakeway markets
  • Build and maintain consultative relationships with business owners, executives, investors, and privately held companies
  • Source new commercial opportunities through direct calling efforts, referral networks, centers of influence (COIs), community involvement, and market intelligence
  • Structure, price, and recommend commercial lending solutions aligned with client objectives and bank risk standards
  • Conduct credit analysis and prepare comprehensive loan packages for review and approval
  • Manage and maintain an assigned commercial loan portfolio while ensuring strong asset quality
  • Coordinate with credit partners to monitor portfolio performance and maintain accurate risk ratings
  • Analyze client financial needs and identify opportunities for treasury management, deposit growth, and additional banking services
  • Lead relationship reviews and portfolio discussions to deepen client engagement and retention
  • Maintain complete and accurate loan documentation while addressing compliance and documentation exceptions
  • Monitor changes in lending regulations, bank policies, and industry trends affecting commercial clients
  • Represent the bank within the local business community and cultivate relationships with key referral sources and community leaders
  • Resolve client concerns and deliver a high level of service across all commercial banking relationships
