Requirements:
  • 7+ years of commercial banking, middle market banking, C&I banking, corporate banking, or senior business banking experience
  • Demonstrated business development success within Broward County or the broader South Florida market
  • Strong commercial credit analysis, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment capabilities
  • Experience managing relationships with privately held companies, family-owned businesses, and operating companies
  • Knowledge of C&I lending, working capital facilities, term loans, treasury management, deposits, and relationship banking
  • Ability to generate business through centers of influence, referrals, networking, and direct calling efforts
  • Strong communication and client advisory skills
  • Experience collaborating with underwriting, credit, treasury management, portfolio management, and executive leadership teams
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
Description:
  • Originate, develop, and maintain middle market commercial banking relationships throughout Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, and surrounding South Florida markets
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial clients while identifying opportunities for relationship expansion
  • Generate new lending, deposit, treasury management, and full-service banking opportunities
  • Build and maintain an active sales pipeline through referrals, centers of influence, networking, and proactive business development efforts
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, executives, and entrepreneurs regarding banking and financing solutions
  • Analyze financial statements, cash flow trends, collateral positions, and overall creditworthiness of prospective and existing borrowers
  • Structure commercial lending solutions in partnership with credit and portfolio management teams
  • Identify and coordinate cross-sell opportunities across treasury management, deposits, lending, and other banking products
  • Maintain strong visibility within the local business community and represent the organization professionally
  • Collaborate closely with underwriting, treasury management, portfolio management, and senior leadership teams to deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Reports to Market Leadership and works closely with Credit and Commercial Banking partners across the organization
