This role is ideal for an experienced commercial banker who can develop new relationships, expand an existing portfolio, structure sound credit solutions, and serve as a trusted financial advisor to business clients throughout Central Florida.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
- 6–8+ years of commercial banking, relationship management, lending, or comparable financial services experience
- Demonstrated experience developing and expanding commercial client relationships
- Experience managing commercial, middle market, and/or commercial real estate credit relationships
- Strong understanding of commercial credit analysis, loan structuring, pricing, collateral, guarantees, and financial statement analysis
- Working knowledge of lending policies, covenant monitoring, credit risk management, and applicable banking regulations
- Experience partnering with credit officers, underwriters, market leadership, and loan operations teams
- Ability to evaluate portfolio trends, identify emerging credit concerns, and escalate deteriorating conditions appropriately
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong business development, negotiation, client advisory, and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain a professional network within the Central Florida market
Description:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial, middle market, and commercial real estate relationships with a focus on profitable growth, strong asset quality, and client retention.
- Develop new business opportunities while expanding existing relationships through targeted calling, networking, referrals, and identification of additional client needs.
- Analyze prospective and existing borrowers in partnership with underwriting and credit teams to evaluate financial performance, repayment capacity, collateral, risk factors, and overall creditworthiness.
- Structure loan opportunities by recommending appropriate pricing, terms, covenants, collateral, guarantees, and other credit protections.
- Coordinate deal team discussions involving relationship management, market leadership, underwriting, and senior credit stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for new credit requests, renewals, opportunity summaries, term sheets, and commitment materials.
- Gather client financial information and ensure borrower data and underwriting materials are accurately maintained throughout the credit process.
- Partner with underwriters to validate financial information and support accurate credit risk and return modeling, including probability of default, loss severity, and risk-adjusted return analysis.
- Lead client communication throughout the lending process, including negotiation of terms, collection of closing requirements, and coordination of outstanding conditions.
- Review closing documentation and verify that required credit conditions are satisfied before funding.
- Monitor client performance, covenant compliance, portfolio risk trends, and emerging credit concerns, escalating material issues to management when appropriate.
- Advise clients on banking and financial strategies by identifying needs and connecting them with relevant financial products, services, and internal specialists.
- Maintain a diversified portfolio of targeted, high-value commercial relationships that supports revenue objectives and disciplined risk management.
- Mentor and support other banking associates by sharing commercial lending, relationship management, and credit knowledge.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with management, underwriting, credit, operations, and other banking partners to deliver a consistent client experience.
- Reports to commercial banking leadership and works closely with market executives, senior credit leadership, underwriters, and loan operations.
