Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly experienced Talent Management & Development Advisor with a strong background in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in designing, developing, implementing, and delivering specialized talent management initiatives such as talent assessment, succession planning, performance management, and career development in collaboration with HR and business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) across all phases of talent management including succession planning, assessments, talent pipelines, and career development.

  • Collaborate with business leaders and HR functions to create and execute integrated talent management strategies.

  • Develop and advise on talent frameworks, standards, systems, and processes to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Conduct evaluations to identify skill gaps and development needs across the organization.

  • Support strategy creation for organizational learning and development; manage implementation, delivery, and effectiveness measurement.

  • Design assessment tools and solutions focused on critical talent aspects ensuring validity and reliability for selection, succession, and advancement.

  • Utilize innovative technologies including adaptive psychometric tools, remote assessments, and digital project management platforms.

  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in talent management and development.

  • Manage end-to-end assessment processes including role profiling, structured interviews, psychometric testing, and feedback delivery.

  • Analyze assessment data and provide actionable insights through comprehensive reporting.

  • Lead the evaluation and continuous improvement of talent management programs based on data-driven insights.

  • Manage succession planning processes: program design, candidate identification, stakeholder coordination, and executive reporting.

  • Partner with line managers and HRBPs to identify high-potential employees and manage the HIPO (High-Potential) program.

  • Maintain and update individual development plans (IDPs) for high-potential talent.

  • Provide career guidance to high-potential employees, outlining skills and steps needed for advancement.

  • Train and mentor team members within the talent management function to build internal capabilities.

Education

  • Required: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field

  • Preferred: Masters degree in Clinical Psychology or Organizational Behavior

Professional Certifications

  • Certification in psychometric testing

    • Preferred: European Federation of Psychologists Associations (EFPA)

    • Minimum: British Psychological Society (BPS)
