About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Oracle Exadata and RAC environments. As a DBA BO, you will be responsible for the administration, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security of critical database systems. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in managing Oracle databases in high-availability and enterprise-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support Oracle RAC databases (11g/12c/19c) including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.

Manage Oracle Exadata infrastructure, including storage, network, and compute nodes.

Implement and maintain database standards, procedures, and best practices.

Monitor system performance and health to ensure optimal database operation and high availability.

Handle Oracle ASM administration, upgrade, and patching activities.

Manage Oracle DataGuard for disaster recovery, including setup, upgrades, and maintenance.

Perform database backups and recovery using RMAN, exp/imp, data pump, and other tools.

Tune database performance to meet application and business needs.

Administer Oracle databases on Unix-based environments.

Handle patch and release management across the full Oracle stack (database, servers, storage, etc.).

Configure and monitor Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 12c/13c and set up threshold alerts and performance baselines.

Oversee new database instance creation, performance tuning, backup and recovery processes.

Perform administrative and operational tasks using EMC Networker backup tools.
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as a Database Administrator, specifically in Oracle Exadata environments.

Strong expertise in Oracle RAC 11g/12c/19c administration and troubleshooting.

Proficient in Oracle ASM, DataGuard, RMAN, and performance tuning.

Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control (12c/13c).

In-depth knowledge of data backup, recovery, and security practices.

Experience in patch management and Oracle database upgrades.

Strong understanding of Unix-based system environments.

Experience with EMC Networker administration is a plus.
