Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Controller to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. As a Cost Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify potential cost overruns and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor project costs and ensure that they are within budget

- Develop and maintain project cost control systems

- Track project expenses and provide regular reports to project managers and senior management

- Identify potential cost overruns and work with project teams to develop cost-saving strategies

- Conduct regular cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost reduction

- Review and approve project budget estimates and change orders

- Ensure that project costs are properly allocated and recorded

- Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate project budgets and cost forecasts

- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to negotiate favorable pricing and terms

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cost control

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control, preferably in the oil and gas industry

- Strong knowledge of cost control principles and techniques

- Experience with project management software and cost control systems

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Fluency in English is required, Arabic language skills are a plus

- Willingness to work in Dammam, Saudi Arabia on a full-time, permanent basis
