Oracle Financial Consultant (Oracle EBS R12)
Job Purpose:
To implement, support, and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices, particularly within the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and support Oracle EBS R12 Financial Modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance users.
- Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing support.
- Coordinate with technical team for customizations, reports, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and VAT regulations (preferably GCC experience).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Oracle Financial certification is a plus - preferred.
Experience:
- 2–7 years of experience in Oracle EBS Financials.
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12.
- Experience in at least 1–2 full-cycle implementations.
- Experience in GCC region is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of VAT implementation in GCC is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial processes and ERP best practices.
- Experience in system setups, SLA, and reporting.
- Ability to work with technical team on:
- Custom reports
- Interfaces
- Data migration
- Good understanding of SQL (basic level preferred).
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
