Role Overview

The Procurement Specialist will work closely with the Project Procurement team, acting as a key interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage RFQs, supplier quotations, and procurement analysis.
  • Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) within ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Follow up on open orders and coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams for on-time delivery.
  • Resolve supplier-related issues including pricing, delivery, quality, and invoicing discrepancies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support supplier reviews and escalations.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, ethics, and HSE standards.
  • Support vendor onboarding and procurement reporting activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and Incoterms.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
