Role Overview
The Procurement Specialist will work closely with the Project Procurement team, acting as a key interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage RFQs, supplier quotations, and procurement analysis.
- Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) within ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Follow up on open orders and coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams for on-time delivery.
- Resolve supplier-related issues including pricing, delivery, quality, and invoicing discrepancies.
- Monitor supplier performance and support supplier reviews and escalations.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, ethics, and HSE standards.
- Support vendor onboarding and procurement reporting activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.
- Advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and Incoterms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
