Accounting Associate (Banking and Reconciliation)

Location: Ermita, Manila (near SM City Manila)

Department: Finance - Accounting Team

Reporting to: Assistant Accounting Manager

Work Schedule: 5-day work week (On-site)

The Associate for Accounting (Banking and Reconciliation) focuses on the day-to-day bank requirements and transaction verification in support of the operations and updates records. He/she prepares monthly reconciliation and ensures the accuracy and completeness of the report

Other requirements includes the following:

• Prepares Monthly Reconciliation for accurate and timely reporting of General Ledger Accounts such as Cash on Hand, Cash in Bank, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, etc.
• Serves as a liaison between the company and partner banks, coordinating management and company requirements and concerns to ensure timely resolution.
• Provides daily updates on bank balances and monitors bank transaction requests. Ensures all transactions are properly handled and completely processed.
• Confirms customer payment requests from the Credit and Collection function in a timely manner.
• Provides administrative support to the Management.

To succeed in this role you will be required to meet the following:

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or any accounting related courses.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
• Preferably with internship experience in bank reconciliation.
• Familiar in SAP or any similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
• Proficiency in Excel and/or google sheet for sorting and organizing data.
• Flexibility and agility to take on additional tasks as required.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to respond effectively to inquiries and deliver information to stakeholders.
• Analytical skills and attention to details in processing data to identify any inconsistencies.
