The Product Quality Analyst is primarily responsible for creating, analyzing, and maintaining product quality-related reports to support data-driven decision-making and informed business decisions. This role involves gathering quality metrics, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve product quality, safety, performance and compliance. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve products, address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain compliance with regulatory and company requirements. By monitoring performance and customer feedback, the Product Quality Analyst plays a key role in enhancing product safety, reliability and customer satisfaction.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather, analyze, and interpret product quality data from manufacturing testing and after sales processes. This also includes providing detailed reports on product quality issues/concerns. Prepare dashboards and visual presentations that provide management and stakeholders with actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of inspection and evaluation results. Assist in developing and updating quality control procedures, checklists, and manuals. Conduct periodic reviews of product documentation to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or outdated information and recommend updates.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaboratively communicate with both external and internal partners in resolving quality concerns. Provide quantitative feedback for continuous improvement. Present quality performance reports and analysis results to management and cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-Obsessed Quality Management: Investigate and analyze customer complaints related to product quality. Develop reports that highlight customer-impacting defects, warranty claims, or product failures, with clear root-cause analysis and recommended actions.
  • Product Monitoring, Process & Improvement: Track product and performance indicators (e.g., defect frequency, rework rates, cycle times, downtime) and identify areas that deviate from targets. Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues to uncover underlying process gaps or inefficiencies.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communications) or a related discipline.
  • Must have a Professional License (Registered Electrical Engineer, Registered Mechanical Engineer, Registered Electronics Engineer)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, preferably in product management, technical development, or a related engineering field.
  • Knowledge in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheet) and quality management systems preferred.
