Reporting to: Group Sales Manager
The Key Accounts Manager for Modern Trade manages the Sales Operations and Collection of the assigned accounts.
Other responsibilities include the following:
- Oversees business development and the overall management of key accounts to ensure efficient implementation and execution of strategies and operations to achieve sales growth and profitability.
- Works in close collaboration with Regional Sales Managers (RSM), Key Account Supervisors (KAS), and various cross-functional teams to implement and execute strategies, as well as address day-to-day operations matters effectively.
- Engages in joint business planning with the customer’s entire operations to ensure the
achievement of sales targets.
To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or any related field.
- At least three (3) years of managerial experience
- Effective communication and presentation skills to convey ideas, information, and strategies to the team and stakeholders.
- Negotiation skills to have efficient conversations involving buyer concerns, concessions, established value and compromise to achieve product strength and profitability.
- Business building to successfully communicate with customers to close sales targets and quota.
- Client management skills to effectively set realistic expectations, build trust, and prioritize clients' needs.
- Strategic thinking; ability to assess market potential, identify target segments, and develop sales plans that contribute to overall business growth.
- Communication skills to effectively convey ideas and plans to internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in using a variety of tools and software, including Google Suite and analytics platforms
