About the job Internal Audit Associate

The Internal Audit Associate supports the execution of the company’s Annual Control and Risk Internal Audit Plan under the guidance and supervision of Senior Auditors (Specialists, Team Leaders, Assistant Managers, and Managers). The role involves conducting performance, financial, operational, compliance, and fraud audit activities within assigned areas or as directed by the MANCOM.

  1. Audit Preparation
    1. Prepares and sends audit notifications to auditees prior to scheduled audits.
    2. Prepares the internal audit program
    3. Creates the opening meeting slides
    4. Sends calendar invites for the opening and closing meetings
  2. Audit Execution
    1. Performs audit procedures including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting processes and procedures.
    2. Conducts branch-level audits for 7S and 52 weeks, and head office audits for 6S.
  3. Team Collaboration
    1. Works as part of a team or under a lead auditor in audit engagements.
  4. Reporting
    1. Assists in preparing audit reports that detail findings and provide actionable recommendations.
    2. Participates in presenting audit results to auditees and MANCOM, both in writing and orally.
  5. Follow-up
    1. Monitors and follows up on all open audit findings to ensure timely resolution by auditees.
  6. Professional Development
    1. Engages in ongoing learning opportunities such as internal/external training or professional association memberships.
    2. Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues.
  7. Other Duties
    1. Performs other related tasks as assigned by MANCOM.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably Internal Audit, Accounting, Finance/Business Administration and/or Industrial Engineering.
  • Open for fresh graduates or at least 1 year audit experience
  • Have basic knowledge in G Suite and/or Microsoft office
  • Have good oral and verbal communication skills to to effectively facilitate meetings and present data/reports
  • Basic knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
  • Above-average critical thinking skills and attention to details
