Job Description: As a Paralegal at First Care Medical, you will be responsible for providing legal support to our legal team and assisting with various tasks related to our company's operations. Your main duties will include conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and assisting with case management. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and organized legal files and records, as well as coordinating with outside counsel and other departments within the company. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research and gather information relevant to ongoing cases - Prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, and contracts - Assist with case management, including organizing and maintaining case files and calendars - Communicate with outside counsel and other departments to gather information and provide updates on case status - Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies - Review and analyze legal documents and contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to all legal and ethical standards - Assist with the development and implementation of company policies and procedures - Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company's operations - Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the legal team. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in the healthcare industry - Strong knowledge of legal terminology, principles, and procedures - Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
