Security Analyst

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Security Analyst to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our company's data and information. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and risk management, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard company data and systems - Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities - Monitor network and system activity for any suspicious or unauthorized behavior - Investigate security incidents and provide timely and thorough reports to management - Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the company's operations - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices - Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the company - Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing - Assist with the development and maintenance of incident response plans - Respond to security incidents and provide support in the event of a security breach Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity or information security role - Strong knowledge of security protocols, standards, and best practices - Experience with risk management, vulnerability assessment, and incident response - Familiarity with network and system security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are preferred Why Work for Us?
