Security Analyst

Job Overview: We are seeking a Security Analyst to join our team and help us maintain a secure and compliant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security and risk management, as well as experience in healthcare or a related field. As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential security risks, conducting security audits, and developing and implementing security policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular security assessments and risk analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats - Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices - Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and measures - Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security awareness - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies - Participate in incident response and remediation efforts - Communicate security risks and findings to management and recommend appropriate solutions - Perform security audits and assessments of third-party vendors and partners - Assist with security incident investigations and forensic analysis as needed Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - 3+ years of experience in information security, risk management, or a related field - Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and HITRUST - Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST, ISO, CIS) - Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus Why Work for Us?
