About the Role

We're hiring a Chief of Staff to serve as the CEO's operational and strategic right hand during a critical scaling phase at a rapidly growing AI education fintech startup.

This is a high-intensity, high-exposure role designed for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys solving complex operational problems, and can operate as a force multiplier for executive leadership.

You'll work directly with the CEO across strategic initiatives, operational execution, cross-functional coordination, and company-wide priorities while helping scale the systems, communication, and operational discipline needed to support rapid growth.

This role is ideal for highly ambitious operators with elite analytical backgrounds, startup instincts, and the ability to execute in demanding, high-accountability environments.

What You'll Do

CEO Partnership & Strategic Execution

• Serve as a strategic and operational partner to the CEO
• Manage CEO priorities, workflows, and critical initiatives
• Ensure high-priority projects remain aligned and on track
• Participate directly in internal and external meetings, planning, and strategic discussions

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Drive alignment and communication across teams and functions
• Help break down operational silos and improve execution quality
• Coordinate initiatives across product, operations, engineering, and leadership teams
• Improve organizational efficiency and accountability

Operational Excellence & Scaling

• Lead internal operational improvement initiatives
• Build scalable workflows, systems, and processes
• Support implementation of new operational infrastructure and business systems
• Identify inefficiencies and improve organizational execution

Strategic Projects

• Structure and solve complex operational and strategic challenges
• Support executive decision-making with quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Build presentations, board materials, and operational reporting where needed

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Management consulting (MBB preferred)
  • Product Management
  • Software Engineering
  • Startup founding/operator experience
• Proven experience building something from scratch:
• • Product
  • Company
  • Operational function
  • Internal system or process
• Experience working closely with founders, executives, or C-suite leadership
• Strong analytical and operational problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
• Comfortable operating in direct, high-feedback environments

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA from a top-tier program
• Technical literacy and familiarity with product development workflows
• Strong slide-building and executive presentation capabilities
• Quantitative analysis and strategic problem-structuring skills

Work Environment

• Location: San Francisco, California
• Fully onsite, 5 days/week
• Frequent travel required
• High-intensity operating environment
• Availability expectations may extend beyond traditional work schedules

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation

• Base Salary: $165,000 – $225,000 USD
• Equity included
