We're hiring an Office Manager to oversee day-to-day administrative operations, payroll coordination, financial support activities, and office administration for a rapidly growing environmental services company expanding into the Commerce, Georgia market.

This is a highly hands-on operational role where you'll serve as the central hub of the office — supporting payroll, accounts payable, invoicing, vendor management, customer service, and overall office coordination.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple operational responsibilities in a fast-paced growth environment.

What You'll Do

Payroll & HR Administration

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule
  • Track and verify employee timecards through internal systems
  • Maintain confidential employee records and personnel files
  • Support onboarding activities including payroll and benefits documentation setup

Customer Billing & Service

  • Generate, distribute, and track customer invoices
  • Manage the invoicing lifecycle to support timely collections
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer billing inquiries
  • Resolve billing discrepancies professionally and efficiently
  • Provide customer support via phone and email

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

  • Process vendor invoices with proper approvals and coding
  • Maintain vendor records and accounting system updates
  • Coordinate weekly AP check runs and ACH payments
  • Manage vendor relationships and communication

Cash Management & Reconciliation

  • Receive and record incoming payments
  • Process deposits including checks, ACH, and cash receipts
  • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger balancing
  • Manage petty cash and employee reimbursements

Office Administration

  • Maintain office supply inventory and purchasing
  • Coordinate office equipment and facility maintenance
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Help implement office procedures and operational best practices

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in:

    • Office Management
    • Bookkeeping
    • Payroll Administration
    • Administrative Operations
  • Broader related work experience considered

Education

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in:

    • Business Administration
    • Accounting
    • Related field preferred

Technical Skills

  • Experience with accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially:

    • Excel
    • Outlook
  • Familiarity with payroll systems such as:

    • ADP
    • Insperity
    • Similar platforms preferred

Knowledge & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
    • Payroll processing
    • Cash management
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional communication skills
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment
  • English proficiency required

Work Environment

  • Location: Commerce, Georgia
  • Full-time direct hire

Compensation

Base Salary

  • $65,000 – $75,000 USD depending on experience
