We're hiring an Engineering Manager to lead and scale a high-performing engineering team at a rapidly growing AI-native fintech platform transforming the contract-to-cash lifecycle for modern finance organizations.

This is a hands-on leadership role with meaningful ownership, direct organizational influence, and close partnership with executive leadership. You'll lead a team of engineers while helping shape engineering culture, delivery execution, hiring strategy, and technical direction during a critical growth stage.

The role combines people leadership with technical and strategic influence in a fast-moving, product-focused environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage a team of 10–15 engineers
  • Drive engineering execution, delivery quality, and operational efficiency
  • Partner closely with Product and Design leadership on roadmap planning and technical direction
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and system design decisions
  • Help scale engineering processes, standards, and team culture
  • Own hiring, onboarding, and organizational growth initiatives
  • Coach and mentor engineers to support performance and career growth
  • Drive retention, engagement, and strong engineering culture
  • Partner directly with the VP of Engineering on strategic engineering initiatives
  • Contribute technically where needed while remaining primarily focused on leadership and team effectiveness

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 7–10+ years of software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of Engineering Management experience
  • Current or recent experience managing teams of 8–15 engineers
  • Strong system design and technical architecture capabilities
  • Experience leading engineering delivery in fast-paced environments
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Comfortable operating in high-growth startup environments
  • Based in New York City or willing to relocate
  • Comfortable working onsite 5 days/week

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at Series A–D startups
  • Background in fintech, B2B SaaS, payments, billing, or revenue systems
  • Experience scaling engineering teams and building strong engineering culture
  • Experience with AI-native platforms or AI/ML-driven products
  • Strong operational leadership and organizational scaling experience
  • Experience partnering closely with executive leadership in growth-stage companies
