About the Role

We're hiring an AI-Native Development Engineer to help design, build, and scale a modern developer platform used by enterprise teams to manage secure and reproducible software environments.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on shipping high-quality production systems across CLI tools, backend services, and infrastructure.

You'll work in an AI-first development environment using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, and similar agentic coding systems as part of your daily workflow.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and ship production features across backend services, CLI tools, and infrastructure
• Own engineering quality including testing, reliability, performance, and code reviews
• Use AI coding tools as a core part of your development workflow
• Build and improve AI-assisted engineering systems, automation workflows, and evaluation frameworks
• Create shared tooling, documentation, and scalable AI engineering practices
• Evaluate emerging AI development tools and recommend adoption strategies
• Make sound engineering decisions balancing speed, stability, and long-term maintainability

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building production systems
• Strong experience in at least one of the following: Rust, Python, or TypeScript
• Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar
• Experience building AI development workflows beyond basic experimentation
• Strong system design and software engineering fundamentals
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred / Strong Plus Experience

• DevTools, infrastructure, or CLI development experience
• Nix / NixOS or reproducible build systems
• Tech lead or delivery ownership experience
• Software supply chain or package management experience
• Open-source contributions related to AI tooling or developer platforms
