Job Responsibilities:

Purchasing:

    • Plan procurement activities, prepare Purchase Orders (POs), and monitor order status with vendors and suppliers.
    • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery terms with key vendors and suppliers.
    • Evaluate and select new vendors and suppliers, as well as review the performance of existing suppliers.
    • Control procurement costs and plan the annual procurement budget in collaboration with the supervisor.
    • Coordinate with relevant departments to forecast and plan material/product requirements in advance.
    • Verify delivery notes and tax invoices against Purchase Orders (POs) before submitting them to the Accounting Department.
    • Provide guidance and review the work of junior procurement officers within the team.

Warehouse & Delivery (Support/Act on behalf as required):

    • Provide consultation and conduct inspections on the receiving, storage, and issuing of products in accordance with the FIFO principle.
    • Participate in periodic and annual inventory counts and analyze any discrepancies identified.
    • Inspect and provide guidance on the segregation of products that are nearing expiration or are damaged, in accordance with company policies.
    • Coordinated with the transportation team and external logistics providers to resolve delivery issues.
    • Verified the accuracy of shipping documents and monitored delivery status for urgent shipments.
    • Analyzed delivery delays and damaged goods and proposed effective solutions to resolve issues.

Operational Management and Development:

    • Participated in departmental meetings, monitored work performance, and reported issues to supervisors.
    • Recommended and implemented process improvement initiatives across procurement, warehouse, and delivery operations to reduce costs and enhance overall efficiency in collaboration with the team.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
    • Able to read, write, and speak English at a communicational level.
    • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, with additional experience in warehouse or delivery operations is a plus.
    • Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills, with the ability to make decisions.
    • Experience in managing procurement budgets and analyzing costs to support business decision-making.
    • Flexible and willing to support warehouse and delivery operations when necessary or requested.
    • Proficient in basic computer applications, particularly MS Office, and experienced with warehouse management or ERP systems such as SAP Business One (SAP B1).
