About the job Site Manager - Installation (Hanoi, Vietnam)
Job descriptions:
- Managing the site and manpower during installation, test, troubleshooting, commissioning, ramp-up and acceptance phases of our automatic system.
- Issue daily and weekly progress and report to the management and team.
- Coordinate with customer for all concerning the activities. Execute daily meeting foe the proper monitoring
- Ensure the completion date of the project in full and on time.
- Analyze the schedule for possible improvement and optimization. Promptly report to Project Manager potential delay.
- Lead and coordinate local contractor teams and technicians. Assign jobs and control the execution on daily basis
- Supervise machine test and controls during installation, commissioning and start up phases.
- Guarantee the execution of the activities with maximum quality level
- Verify the system layout, equipment drawings and documents. Report to Project Manager eventual mistakes and mismatching with actual materials delivered and actual situation at site
- Attention to environmental issue and safety precaution to apply during all processes
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a site management or similar role, preferably in the logistics or manufacturing industry
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering principles, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
- Proficient in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, machine layouts, and manuals, with hands-on experience working with inverters, electric motors, sensors, photocells, and 400/230V electrical cabinets.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of technicians and engineers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools for facility management and data analysis
- Basic knowledge of PLC Siemens and SEW Inverters are a plus.
- Fluency in both English and Thai is preferred.
- Availability to travel extensively
