Job Description
- Customer Needs: Work directly with customers to understand their specific needs and provide technical support for the application of modified starch products.
- Formulations & Processes: Develop and optimize formulations and processes to demonstrate the functionality and benefits of modified starches in various applications, such as food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and industrial products.
- Trials & Experiments: Conduct trials and experiments to evaluate product performance and provide data-driven recommendations to customers.
- R&D Collaboration: Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new applications and improve existing products based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Technical Training: Provide technical training and presentations to customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders to enhance their understanding of modified starch products and their applications.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to modified starches and their applications.
- Documentation: Document and report on customer interactions, project progress, and trial results to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Promotion: Participate in customer visits, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote modified starch products and capabilities.
- Development: Developing new application and alternative concepts leveraging ingredients and processes which can be applied regionally and globally
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food applications, product development, or technical support, preferably with a focus on starches or similar ingredients.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of starch chemistry, functionality, and applications. Experience with formulation development and process optimization.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to customer sites, industry events, and conferences as needed.
- Experience with industrial-scale starch applications.
- Knowledge of food industry regulations and standards related to starch products.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
