Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage customer credit control and AR collection for both local and overseas teams.
  • Develop operational strategies and action plans, including team budgeting, overall team management, and solutions for operational issues.
  • Monitor overall team performance and ensure timely invoicing and collection of customer payments.
  • Manage the monthly AR closing, reconciliation, and reporting processes while optimizing resources and operational processes.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex AR issues, resolve missed payments, and negotiate with customers to recover long-overdue payments.
  • Oversee credit checks for new and potential customers to assess financial reliability and minimize credit risks.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Finance and Accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across AP, AR), GL, and fixed asset management.
  • Manage full-cycle accounting and ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
  • Monitor revenue recognition, expense classification, and intercompany transactions.
  • Oversee inventory accounting and costing controls, where applicable.
  • Review team performance, allocate workloads, and coach team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, or ACCA) is preferred.
  • Experience in Accounting & Finance, with strong experience in AR collection, credit control, Accounts Receivable functions, and AR-related management reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting & Finance Management, Accounts Receivable Management, Debt Collection, Credit Control, and Risk Management.
  • Experience coordinating with Sales and Customer teams on Accounts Receivable Management and debt collection.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing Credit Control, Accounting, or Finance teams.
  • Good business English communication skills, both written and spoken.
