We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Executive / Cashier to support our operations and finance functions, ensuring smooth daily processes and accurate cash handling.

Role Overview

The Operations Executive / Cashier will play a dual role in supporting daily operational coordination and managing cash transactions related to courier and freight activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a focus on accuracy, and a proactive attitude toward customer service and internal coordination.

Work Location: Wellampitiya, Orugodawatta

Work Hours: 2PM to 10PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily cash collections, deposits, and reconciliations for courier and freight transactions.
  • Issue receipts, maintain accurate payment records, and prepare daily cash reports.
  • Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with company policies.
  • Support operations teams with shipment processing, documentation, and dispatch coordination.
  • Liaise with customers for payment confirmations and provide professional front-desk service where required.
  • Verify and log shipment-related charges such as duties, freight, and handling fees.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial and operational documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Accounting, or Logistics.
  • 12 years of experience in operations, cashiering, or finance-related roles (experience in logistics or courier industry preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial recording systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • High level of integrity, responsibility, and customer service orientation.
