UPS Sri Lanka (FITS Express Pvt Ltd) Authorized Service Contractor for UPS, the worlds largest courier and logistics company with operations in more than 220 countries and territories worldwide.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Logistics Solutions Executive to join our team at UPS Sri Lanka. The role is focused on providing innovative logistics solutions to clients, supporting end-to-end supply chain requirements, and ensuring exceptional service delivery in line with UPS global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage customized logistics solutions for corporate and individual clients, ensuring alignment with their business needs.
• Coordinate with international UPS network offices, local brokerage, operations, and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment handling.
• Provide customers with solutions for courier services.
• Monitor and manage import/export processes, ensuring compliance with Sri Lanka Customs and other regulatory authorities.
• Conduct periodic follow-ups with clients to maintain relationships and secure repeat business.
• Resolve customer queries and provide proactive updates on shipments.
• Uphold UPS global service quality standards while ensuring cost efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• A Bachelors degree or professional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 23 years experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
• Good knowledge of Sri Lanka Customs clearance procedures, HS codes, import/export regulations, and bonded warehouse operations.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal). Sinhala/Tamil proficiency is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and logistics/ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on providing practical logistics solutions.
• High level of responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in express courier services, freight forwarding, or international shipping.
• Familiarity with UPS systems, processes, and compliance standards.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with efficiency.
