Locally, we provide end-to-end express courier, freight forwarding, warehousing, and customs brokerage services, connecting Sri Lankan businesses to global markets with speed, accuracy, and reliability.
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Credit Control Executive to strengthen our Finance team and ensure financial discipline and compliance within our operations.
Role Overview
The Credit Control Executive is responsible for managing and monitoring customer accounts, ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the finance function to optimize cash flow and minimize credit risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage customer credit accounts to ensure payments are received within agreed timelines.
- Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices via calls and emails, maintaining professional communication at all times.
- Reconcile customer accounts and prepare regular Aging Reports for management review.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Operations teams to resolve billing disputes and ensure smooth service continuity.
- Ensure that customer credit limits are reviewed periodically and adhered to.
- Support the Finance Manager with monthly closing activities and receivable reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all credit control communications and actions taken.
- Provide assistance in audits and internal control reviews related to accounts receivable.
Qualifications & Skills
- Part qualification in ACCA, CIMA, or CA Sri Lanka, or a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or finance operations (experience in logistics or freight forwarding will be an advantage).
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining coordination with cross-functional teams.
- High levels of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
