To support our continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Technical Manager to lead our technical service division and uphold the high standards our brand is known for.

Role Overview

The Technical Manager will lead the full lifecycle of technical supportfrom installation and commissioning to preventive maintenance, repairs, and customer training. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in coffee equipment, and the ability to deliver efficient, customer-focused service across all operational verticals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and develop the technical service team (technicians, engineers, and field service staff).
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, servicing, and preventive maintenance of coffee machines, grinders, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues while ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain an organized spare parts inventory, including procurement, tracking, and stock control.
  • Provide technical training for internal staff and customers on machine care, calibration, and safe operation.
  • Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers regarding warranty claims, technical updates, manuals, and documentation.
  • Maintain detailed service logs, checklists, maintenance reports, and ensure compliance with all safety and performance standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales and operations teams to support equipment rollouts, demonstrations, and new project setups.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency, quality, and turnaround times.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 35 years of experience in technical service management, preferably in food & beverage equipment, appliances, or machinery.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of coffee machines, grinders, and related equipment (training provided if needed).
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and customer-handling skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to train and coach staff.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with service management systems.
  • Valid driving license is an advantage for on-site visits.
